Alerts or Notifications received in the mobile app from onEdu are stored by category. The categories of alerts that are enabled in onEdu are:
  - Online exam notifications
  - Circular notifications
  - Fee payment notifications
  - New content shared notifications
  - Changes in time table 
  - Changes to student profile or parent profile

There are 2 types of alerts. Both are push notifications, but the first category are automatically initiated by onEdu based on events and the second category are manually generated by college staff.
